Job Description:
Consumer Additions are partnering with a fast growing, FMCG business to help them recruit a Financial Controller into the team.

Roles and responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
* Analyse financial data, trends, and key performance indicators to provide insights to the leadership team.
* Oversee the reconciliation of financial transactions in the Xero accounting system.
* Ensure accuracy and completeness in the reconciliation of bank statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial records within Xero.
* Lead the annual budgeting process and regular forecasting activities.
* Monitor and analyse the Cost of Goods (COGs) on an ongoing basis.
* Conduct detailed reviews of production costs, materials, and overheads to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
* Provide insightful reports and recommendations to senior management based on the COGs analysis.
* Facilitate the reporting process related to B Corporation certification requirements.
* Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to maintain compliance with B Corporation standards.
* Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements and balance sheets.
* Conduct regular audits to identify and mitigate financial risks.
* Manage cash flow and liquidity to support daily operations and strategic initiatives.
The ideal candidate:
• Qualified accountant
• Progressive experience in finance and accounting roles
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles and financial reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
