* Must hold active SC Security Clearance
* Salary up to £85,000 DOE

WHO ARE WE?
We are hiring a Principal Nuclear Safety Engineer with SC Clearance to join our diverse team and work on a wide range of high profile Public Sector projects across UK Government.
THE NUCLEAR SAFETY ENGINEER SHOULD HAVE…
* Strong engineering judgment and experience in fundamental engineering skills.
* Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
* Background in safety case production and hazard analysis, particularly in the nuclear and defence industry.
* Proficient in producing and reviewing/correcting high-quality technical reports.
* Experienced in leading technical teams and mentoring junior staff.
* Motivated to achieve delivery/cost targets without compromising quality.
* Awareness of technical limitations and a willingness to help and support for successful project delivery.
OTHER RESPONIBILITIES INCLUDE…
* Production of Nuclear Technical Reports
* Fault identification studies (HAZOP, FMEA)
* Hazard and safety assessments
* Develop and review Safety management arrangements
* Mentor junior members of the team in a technical capacity
* Liaise with operators, designers and clients to build positive relationships
