Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join our team in Essex. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting our financial planners, contributing to the delivery of high-quality financial advice to our clients. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to work flexibly between our office and home.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare detailed and accurate financial reports to support the recommendations made by our financial planners.
* Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on various financial products, including pensions, investments, and insurance.
* Liaise with financial planners and clients to gather necessary information and clarify requirements.
* Review and check the work of other paraplanners and support staff to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
* Assist in the preparation and maintenance of client files, ensuring all documentation is complete and up to date.
* Support the continuous improvement of our processes and services by providing constructive feedback and suggestions.
* Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and industry developments to ensure compliance and enhance service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
* At least 2 years of experience in report writing within the financial services industry.
* Proven track record in a paraplanning role, with a strong understanding of financial products and services.
* Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of written and verbal communication.
* Proficiency in using financial planning software and Microsoft Office applications.
* Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning is desirable but not essential.
* Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret complex information and data.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
