Property Accounts Assistant
Salary: £27k - £30k + Company benefit scheme
Location: Burgess Hill (office based)
Hours: Mon-Fri 9am - 17.30pm
(Free off-street parking)
Do you have a background within accounts and property and wan t to work for a highly reputable and well-established organisation that offers a great working environment and the opportunity to take further study? If so, I have a great opportunity for you to join a busy accounts team working for a proactive property company based in Burgess Hill.
You will enjoy working as part of a busy team, be highly organised with great IT skills, and if you have used QUBE (Property CRM system) it would be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
* Raising and sending service charges and ground rent invoices- monthly and quarterly.
* Liaising with clients over the phone, email, and correspondence.
* Bank reconciliations.
* Sales & purchase ledger.
* Work towards having responsibility for your own portfolio of clients.
* Working with external accounts to assist on year-end accounts.
* Assisting the property managers with budgets, debtors, and credit control.
The right candidate will have the following skills to apply:
* Previous experience within accounts.
* Ideally AAT level 2-3 qualified or qualified by experience.
* Ability to manage your own workload and meet strict deadlines.
* Good IT skills inclusive of Excel and have used accountancy software packages and ideally Qube (property CRM system)
* Proactive and professional with a "can do" attitude.
* Proven background in bank reconciliation, invoicing, and dealing with supplier queries.
* A good understanding of finance practices and procedures.
