Role Details:
* Position: Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) – Urgent Care CAMHS (Adhoc)
* Band: 6
* Location: Birmingham
* Duration: 3 months (ongoing)
* Schedule: Long days / 1-2 shifts per week
* Start Date: ASAP
* Rate of Pay: £26 per hour
Role Overview: As a Community Psychiatric Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering essential care to patients in the community. Your responsibilities will include:
* Conducting patient visits to ensure their needs are met
* Administering medication at prescribed times to address patients’ health needs
* Engaging with patients to understand their conditions, monitor progress, and provide efficient support
* Performing risk assessments to ensure patient safety and creating a secure environment during treatment
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Active registration with the NMC as a Mental Health Nurse
* Proven community experience
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure
* Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
* Commitment to providing the highest quality of patient care
