Job Description:
Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Semi-Senior Accountant
to join their accountancy practice in Croydon.

The role entails (but is not limited to):
* Liaising with clients and third parties as required.
* Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for clients with reconciliation and schedules to support all entries.
* Preparing VAT returns for clients with various needs and managing client queries.
* Performing book-keeping duties for clients when necessary.
* Reviewing work carried out by other members of the team.
* Ad hoc tasks as required by the company.
A successful candidate will have:
* Previous experience working within accountancy practices (ideally 3 years).
* Excellent organisation and time management.
* Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
* Proficiency with Excel, Sage and other accountancy softwares.
* Preferably be fully or part-qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA or AAT.
The salary for this position is £28,000 per annum.
