Do you have extensive capabilities in audit and want to lead an experienced team within a leading accountancy practice?
This accountancy firm is looking for?an enthusiastic Audit Director, to join their team in Burnley who can pick up the role as a natural leader and push the department towards its goals.
The role will suit someone looking to lead an audit team, with previous external audit experience within the SME and owner managed business sectors.
The ideal Audit Director will be ACA, ACCA or CA qualified and potentially looking for a defined route to Partnership.
Job Purpose
*Target setting and department planning, including budgeting
*Ability to identify services that will add value to your portfolio of clients
*Confident in networking to promote the department
*New business outreach through the development of new products
*Overseeing the audit team to ensure career progression is managed
*Set an example for the team as a natural leader
*Provide professional development management for senior team members
*Oversee client-facing and internal communications
*Develop and present tender proposals, meeting with prospective clients
*Manager department goals and evaluate areas of improvement

The Successful Applicant
*ACA, ACCA or CA qualified with extensive experience within practice
*Extensive audit experience at management level is essential
*Self-motivated, reliable individual who is eager for career progression
*Technically efficient in both audit and accounting
*Previous supervisory experience, with a positive attitude
*Confident in reviewing processes and improving systems
*Provide professional communication skills, both verbally and written
*Experience in strategy operations at a managerial level
