Job Description:
We are a leading Chinese bank in the City and currently recruiting for a Relationship Manager for Private Banking. The Bank is renowned worldwide for its quality services to customers, and has operated in the UK as a Branch for 8 years.
As a Relationship Manager, you are expected to be a highly driven, career-minded individual who has excellent knowledge of Private Banking business. This position provides an exciting opportunity to work within a small team and quickly adapting to cover a broad area of duties. The key responsibilities will include:
* Provide comprehensive support to achieve departmental objectives;
* Develop and respond to clients with potential account opening and mortgage requirements;
* Grow and maintain the deposit book for clients with the possibility of offering other financial products further;
* Identify and suggest suitable non-financial services or tools to enhance client satisfaction;
* Assist in planning, designing, and executing various types of client events, as well as other marketing activities;
* Maintain and develop business cooperation channels, partners and service providers;
* Provide flexible solutions to improve products and procedures where appropriate;
* Cooperate with other front offices to generate business leads and create synergy;
* Liaise with IT team to develop Private Banking related system;
* Other duties assigned by the Head of Department.
To be successful in the role of a Relationship Manager, the following key qualifications/skills are essential:
* A Bachelor degree or above, ideally with a finance related educational background;
* 3+ years of relevant working experience as a Relationship Manager or Adviser for mortgage business;
* Professional qualification, such as CFA, CAIA, FRM is a plus;
* CeMap qualified preferred;
* Excellent communication and inter-cultural skills. Fluent in English and Chinese Mandarin both in verbal and writing;
* Good knowledge of Private Banking business in the UK, especially for products and operations;
* Team working and an eye for detail;
* Deadline driven and abilities to work under pressure, etc.
This will be a full time position and the successful candidate will receive a mark-to-market salary package depending on experience. The closing date for application is 13 August 2024.
