We are recruiting for a Senior Electronic Engineer for a successful British manufacturer of USB Chargers, DC-DC voltage converters, and power supplies serving the communications, rail, automotive and marine markets. 
The company design and manufacture all its own products, supplying to markets across the world.

Responsibilities:
* Design and develop switched-mode power supply products from the initial conception through to production.
* Lead and collaborate with a small cross-functional team of engineers
* Generate product specifications, designs, and test methods
* Troubleshooting faults in prototype and production units
* Design of production test systems for new products
* Estimate and deliver technical development to tight timescales
* Provide expertise during product roadmap development
* Mentor developing engineers
Candidate Requirements:
* Degree qualified in an Electronics Engineering field
* 5+ years experience of electronic circuit design, preferably analogue or power electronics, in a relevant industry
* Schematic design experience and some experience of PCB layout
* Experience of testing and debugging prototype electronic designs
* Experience of design for manufacturing techniques
* Experience of regulatory standards and approval process, EMC, LVD, etc.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team as a technical lead
* Excellent problem-solving and analytic skills
* Excellent communication skills
