A growing and successful manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Assistant Financial Controller to join their Sunderland finance team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role, seving as no.2 in finance reporting directly to the Financial Controller, and will assist with key financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Produce accurat and timely management accounts
* Involvement in costing and stock management
* Conduct variance analysis
* Ensure SOX compliance
* Support the implementation of new forecasting systems and SAP upgrades
* Provide guidance and mentorship to assistant accountants
Qualifications and Experience:
* Finalist or fully qualified accountant
* Experience with SAP is preferred
* Proven experience in costing and SOX compliance
Compensation and Benefits:
* Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
