Are you an Maintenance Engineer or similar with a background in PLC/Automation works, looking to work within an innovative life science company, who are undertaking a huge period of growth by focusing on growing their client base, continuous process manufacturing improvements and giving excellent training and progression opportunities?
On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established company who are changing the game in environmental science, drug discovery and analytical water testing. The company are dedicated to expanding their workload across different industries including pharma, biotech and forensics.
This varied role will see you responsible for various aspects of the automation machinery in an attempt to increase efficiency, you will be responsible for fault finding on PLC logic programming to minimize downtime, commissioning of equipment, upgrading manual processes to become fully automated and helping the company expand their production capacity.
This role would suit a Maintenance Engineer or similar with an Automation background looking to work for a growing, innovative company, who can give you the opportunity to be involved with all aspects of the process, ability to progress into leading roles and expand your knowledge in the life science industry.
The Role:
* Develop new and existing processes - manual to automated.
* Improve efficiency, reduce costs
* Assist in the design, source and implementation of new production lines
* Fault Finding, Coding of Ladder Logic PLC’s - Siemens program
* Monday to Friday - 7AM-3PM
The Person:
* Maintenance Engineer or similar
* Background in PLC’s / Automation
* Based near Cardiff - commutable to Caerphilly
