Job Description:
Are you an electrically biased service engineer? Do you have experience fault finding and making repairs? Are you happy to work in a field-based role? If so, this Field Service Engineer position is perfect for you!
This Field Service Engineer is covering the Southwest Region, from Exeter to Bristol. This position is a Monday to Friday position, but overtime is available. The role is paying a basic of £35,000, however, this position can achieve up to £45,000 based on travel and overtime. This role does require a Clean Full UK Driving License.
This Field Service Engineer role also comes with a company van and tools, as well as other benefits such as 25 days holiday and access to the pension scheme.
The company is a leading manufacturer in the inspection and detection industry. This means that they manufacture machinery used for a number of different industries to ensure products and food are examined and contaminant free.
This Field Service Engineer position is focused on repair and servicing of detection equipment. The role requires travelling to different customer sites to perform repairs, calibration, servicing and commission of inspection equipment. This also involves upgrades and refurbishments. As it requires visiting clients, it is important to represent the company as expected, but also to be able to adapt to new environments and comply with the specific client health and safety policies. Technical support over the phone is a service that falls within the role. It is also important to complete all necessary documentation.
You will need:
* To be electrically skilled
* Experience within a Field Service Engineering position
* Experience with electrical fault finding and diagnostics
* Experience with PLCs is advantageous
* To have a Full & Clean UK Driving License
