Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils are looking to recruit a Commissioning and Procurement Business Partner to join ourteam based in Suffolk. You will be working 37 hours per week. The successful candidate will earn a competitive salary of £42,403 - £49,498 per annum (pro rata for part time).
Full time, part time and job share opportunities will be considered.

About the Commissioning and Procurement Business Partner role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Commissioning and Procurement Business Partner to support a wide range of the councils service areas.  
In this important role, you will deliver expert commercial advice and guidance to ensure effective procurement strategies are developed.
You will ensure that compliant procurements are undertaken in line with the councils standing orders, legislation and sustainable procurement good practise. 
About you
You will:
* be Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) qualified, or studying for CIPS qualifications, or will have equivalent knowledge gained through experience
* have proven experience of delivering a range of commissioning and procurement solutions, working with multiple stakeholders and a commitment to personal development
* have a strong work ethic, possess good communication and report writing skills, and an ability to challenge in an effective manner
* be able to work well independently, as a member of a team and be able to lead a team.
