Job Description:
An award-winning, London-based law firm is looking for a resourceful Business Development & Marketing Assistant with exceptional attention to detail and a creative eye to join their busy team.
The Business Development & Marketing Assistant will play a key role in tasks and projects associated with shaping the firm’s brand, reputation and business growth. You will be accountable to the Business Development & Marketing Director. but will work with and be line managed on a day to day basis by the firm’s Content & Communications Lead. The firm has seven teams, Private Client, Family & Relationships, Residential Property, Commercial Property, Company & Commercial, Litigation and Charities, alongside which the BD & Marketing team work to develop and implement their business plans and ensure there is a strong commercial focus on all marketing activities. The firm wish to recruit a results-driven junior applicant to support the firm as it seeks to develop a wider brand profile and maximise the breadth and depth of experience contained within the firm. You will enjoy a broad role with responsibilities across the whole breadth of marketing, communications and business development. The firm will provide training on key platforms and will support the role holder’s career development with access to external training, including CIM.
Motivated, energetic and proactive with a ’can-do’ approach, the ideal candidate will be a bright graduate or equivalent with proven experience working as part of a highly focused Marketing or BD team, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment. With outstanding verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills and excellent administration and organisational skills, including the ability to manage time efficiently and remain calm under pressure, the Business Development & Marketing Assistant must enjoy interacting with people at all levels. Experience in the use of Adobe Creative Suite and some knowledge of Passle, Dot.Digital, Foleon or similar programmes, will be advantageous but is not essential.
