Our client who specialise in metal work, and who provides customers with fabrication services from initial to design right through to the completed products, are looking for a Tube Bender to join their team!
Tube Bender Roles and Responsibilities:
*Setting up machinery and prepping the metals
*Placing metal tubing into machines ready bending
*Manipulating and cutting metal down to size
*Using drills, mills, lathes, guillotines
*Work with metal tubes, rods, and bars, shaping them into the desired configurations
*Using a tube bending machine and working from written instructions and plans
*Fabricate parts by flaring, deburring, trimming, and forming material of various dimensions
The ideal Tube Bender will:
*Have previous experience in tube bending
*Be able to work from engineering drawings
*Experience working within a metal/ steel work environment
Working Hours + Benefits:
*Monday - Friday
*7am - 4pm, with a 1pm finish on Fridays!
*Overtime paid at time and a half
*Company pension scheme
*Onsite parking
