Job
The role of Financial Accountant will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:
* Controlling UK balance sheet reconciliations
* Monthly reconciliation of sub-ledger control account balances
* Preparation and posting of month-end journals
* Ensuring balance sheet accounts are reconciled and substantiated
* Routine cleansing of balance sheet accounts
* Preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with FRS102
* Running FX routines for UK entities
* Collaborating on the annual audit and statutory reporting process
* Involvement in process improvement projects
* Revamping of working papers, financial controls, and processes
You
As a Financial Accountant you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:
* Accountancy qualification advantageous but not essential
* Exceptional analytical and MS Excel skills
* Sound practical knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102
* Strong understanding of financial controls and policy implementation
* Good planning and organisational skills, with independent operation capabilities
