Calling all HGV Class 1 Drivers!
We have an exciting opportunity for HGV Drivers to join our new Transport team in Doncaster. The successful candidate will deliver an on-time performance for our customers, ensuring that all relevant documents are completed and presented in a professional manner.
We believe the successful HGV Driver should have the following skills:
* Full HGV Licence (C+E)
* Digital Tachograph card (essential)
* CPC card min of 28hrs covered (essential)
* You must have no more than 6 points on your licence
* Excellent communication skills
The key tasks for the HGV Driver role are:
* Ensure all paperwork/PDA’s have clear in and out times so as to ensure full costs are recovered
* Ensure all paperwork is in a respectable condition both to customers and on return to depot
* Ensure daily checks of vehicles & trailers are carried out and any defects are reported straight away
* Deliver on time performance, including updating journey details on PDA
* Full understanding of and compliance with tachograph and working time directive regulations
* Runsheets are filled out correctly and with all expenses attached
* Flexible approach to the job in hand, be proactive don’t wait to be asked
