Castlefield are currently recruiting a Procurement Officer to join a Public Sector organisation in Preston. The role is hybrid and will cover all category areas.
The Role:
* To manage the provision of effective procurement services to both internal and external stakeholders
* Support in the development and delivery of the organisation’s procurement strategy
* Identify best procurement routes for specific projects
* Maintain relationships with suppliers
* Manage the contracts register
* Strive for continuous improvement across procurement and contract management
The Person:
* Experience in procurement
* Public Sector experience desirable
* Working across multiple areas
* Ability to manage busy workload
* Effective negotiator
