Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a reputable manufacturing company looking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their facility in Sheffield with immediate effect.
* Salary - £26.500 - £30,000
* Monday to Thursday 8:00am till 4.30pm Friday 8:00am till 1:00pm 
* Holidays are 25 days plus stats
Responsibilities of the role include:
* Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults and carrying out repairs to maximise production output and plant availability 
* Ensure all PPM activity is carried out
* Determine whether parts need to be purchased from suppliers or produced in house
* Carry out general maintenance of the site such as oiling and greasing and maintaining existing jigs and fixtures
* Adhering to existing working practices, methods, procedures and identify improvements
* Work in accordance with safe systems of work, ensuring health and safety standards are always adhered to.
We are keen to speak with A Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with the following:
* Time served experience within a manufacturing environment
* Apprentice trained with NVQ Level 3/ City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering (preferable)
* Team player attitude
* Strong mechanical knowledge with some electrical knowledge 
* Safety conscious
