Description
* Forecast levels of demand for services and products to meet business needs
* Work collaboratively with other departments to implement the company’s overall procurement strategy
* Conduct market research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of value, delivery schedules, and quality
* Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers, and relevant internal departments
* Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
* Assess, manage, and mitigate risks in the supply chain process
* Continuously improve procurement processes
* Identify and propose solutions for operational issues in the supply chain
Profile
A successful Supply Planner should have:
* Proven experience in the FMCG industry
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasive skills
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and manipulate complex data
* Good working knowledge of procurement and supply chain software systems
