Anglian Water offers a flexible approach, this role provides you the flexibility to work from home and from an Anglian Water office. Your base location will be in Peterborough with an expectation of being in the office a minimum of 2 3 days a week.?
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Performance & Reporting Analyst to join the team on a permanent basis. This role provides reporting and analytical capability across the entire Maintenance and Engineering Service function. It is key in supporting the performance and results of Maintenance and Engineering Services and to provide a single source of truth, extracting data and information from core corporate systems into professional, reliable and consumable reports.
The Performance and Reporting Analyst needs to have strong analytical skills in order to build relationships between multiple investment data sources and highlight key areas of concern for stakeholders to be able to make targeted decisions.
With a core focus on data quality and customer service it is essential the role holder has a strong understanding of databases and data analysis procedures, and reporting with a very keen eye for detail, whilst also being collaborative, approachable and able to report and articulate their findings coherently.
What will you be doing?
* Produce trusted and high quality reports using the business’ chosen reporting tool (currently Microsoft PowerBI)

* Amalgamate the data streams provided, linking up the data flows from multiple corporate systems

* Ensure all the different elements of Maintenance and Engineering Services performance against business plan are linked together in the reporting suite to provide a single of both performance and results

* Ensure that data is accurate and validated, with erroneous data or spurious entries removed from any outputs and corrected in source systems

* Provide predictive analysis on the Maintenance and Engineering Services Performance

* Work with stakeholders to understand their reporting requirements and data streams

What does it take to be a Performance & Reporting Analyst?
* Technical expertise producing professional business reporting

* Experience of data extraction in a corporate environment

* Strong organisational and administration abilities

* Experience of Anglian Water IT systems particularly TDW, C55, P6 and SAP - AW Systems Preferred but not essential

* Highly computer literate

* Excellent communication skills (Verbal)

* Data handling

* Attention to detail

* Analytical skills

* Experienced manipulator of different data sets including performance data for efficient use to benefit the business

* Ability to develop and maintain effective data management
