Job Description:
Position: KS1 Teaching Assistant
Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Are you passionate about supporting young learners and making a positive impact on their educational journey? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and dynamic team, working with KS1 students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting the classroom teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management
* Providing one-on-one and small group support to students to enhance their learning experience
* Supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
* Supervising students during playground and break times, ensuring their safety and well-being
* Helping to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment
* Assisting with administrative tasks, such as record-keeping and organizing classroom materials
Requirements:
* Experience working with young children in an educational setting is preferred
* First Aid training is essential, or a willingness to undergo First Aid training
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude towards students
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
