Key Responsibilities:
* Provide specialist assessment and intervention to a defined caseload across the Assessment Ward, Treatment Wards, and the Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
* Utilize the Model of Human Occupation (MOHO) as the primary model of practice.
* Ensure all assessments and interventions are evidence-based and evaluated using recognized outcome measures.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans.
* Support patients in their recovery journey through tailored occupational therapy interventions.
Essential Criteria:
* Proven experience in delivering occupational therapy services in a mental health setting.
* Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized intervention plans.
* Familiarity with MOHO and a commitment to using evidence-based practices.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Effective time management and organizational skills to manage a varied caseload.
Desirable Criteria:
* Previous experience working in an Assessment Ward, Treatment Ward, or PICU.
* Experience with specific outcome measures relevant to mental health occupational therapy.
