Performing Arts Technician / Graduate Performing Arts Technician
Location: Wimborne Minster
Salary: £28,300 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Either during term time only or on a full year basis, flexibility is essential and the postholder will be required to work some evenings and weekends)
The Role
Reporting to the Theatre’s Technical Manager, two hard working and enthusiastic individuals are required to join the School’s Theatre team to assist in ensuring the successful operation of school and external productions as well as supporting pupils foster their interest in working backstage.
The successful candidates will primarily be involved in set construction.
Skills and Qualifications
* Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines is essential.
* Previous experience in a similar role would therefore be advantageous as would:
* Carpentry skills
* A creative flair
* A keen interest in the theatre
