Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Surveyor to join our team. This permanent position will be centered on the delivery of fire safety work and implementations. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing externally completed Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) and coordinating the necessary actions to address any identified issues. This is a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.

Description
* Analyse externally completed Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) and develop action plans based on findings.
* Coordinate and manage the implementation of fire safety measures, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard.
* Liaise with contractors, residents, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and efficient project delivery.
* Monitor and review fire safety measures and ensure ongoing compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation of all fire safety works and assessments.
* Provide expert advice and guidance on fire safety issues to colleagues and stakeholders.
* Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address potential fire safety risks.
* Collaborate with the wider maintenance and repairs team to ensure a holistic approach to building safety.
Profile
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Building Surveying or a related field.
* Proven experience working as a Building Surveyor within the social housing sector.
* Extensive knowledge and experience in fire safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
* Strong analytic skills and the ability to develop actionable plans based on FRAs.
* Excellent project management and organisational skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
* Proficiency in using surveying software and other relevant IT tools.
* Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.
