Senior Bookkeeper (Standalone)
Permanent
Camberley (2 days a week in the office)
£37,000 per annum
My client is a media business who are looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to look after their Finance function. This role is a standalone position, so the chosen candidate must be comfortable with both transactional and higher level accounting.
Responsibilities will include:
* Preparation of the control report monthly with commentary and variance analysis
* Cash Flow forecasting
* Book-keeping to include journals, purchase, and sales ledger. (includes credit control and creditor payments).
* Checking and paying of expense claims.
* Support tenders or frameworks with the financial information.
* Manage local insurances such as buildings, inventory, public and employers’ liability etc
The ideal candidate will:
* Have be an experienced bookkeeper, and have experience working in either a standalone or SME environment
* Be AAT or CIMA qualified
* Be personable and collaborative
* Be comfortable working alongside an MD as well as with a high level of autonomy
