Audit and Accounts Manager - Media Team
Are you a skilled Audit Manager with an interest in the Media industry? This specialist team in a renowned Top 10 firm is seeking an Audit and Accounts Manager to come on board and play an integral part in the growth and development of the team as the firm continues to grow.
The team works with entrepreneurial businesses from individuals, to start ups and large international groups, including multiple household names. Clients are from all areas of the media industry, including TV and film, media technology, marketing communications and theatre. The team is sizeable and growing, and works across audit, accounting, business advisory, tax and corporate finance. The team works together to advise their clients, providing them with the very best service. Work life balance and hybrid working are a key feature of this firm.

Key responsibilities
Providing a client focused and commercially aware service in an efficient and professional manner.
Managing a mixed general practice portfolio of media clients ensuring that for each client all deadlines are met, the work is carried out within budget and company evaluations are completed.
Managing, training and mentoring junior members of staff to enable them to develop and progress.
Proactively promoting and marketing the firm and its services to attract new clients, and retain and develop relationships with existing ones.
Delivering audit, corporate tax and ad-hoc advice to clients
Submitting accounts to Companies House within deadlines
Submitting tax returns to HMRC within deadlines
Pro-actively liaising with clients and partners to ensure agreed timetables and deadlines are met
Promoting internal networking in order to support clients when identifying business needs
Taking part in other ad-hoc exercises such as investigations, due diligence, company valuations, employee share scheme advice and other duties as required by clients or partners.
Delivering work using the primary accounting frameworks (UK GAAP, FRS 101, FRS 102 and IFRS).
Skills & expertise
Relevant Accounting Qualification such as ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
Commercially aware and able to apply and communicate technical knowledge in a clear and commercial way.
Experience managing both people and a portfolio.
Commitment to client care and service beyond expectation.
Commitment to CPD and ensuring technical competence is continually improved
Ability to give feedback in a constructive manner
