Learning Support Assistant - Tower Hamlets
Learning Support Assistant needed in a school in Tower Hamlets. We are looking for a motivational learning assistant for a primary school in Newham. Candidates should be able to demonstrate assertiveness whilst also maintaining an optimistic attitude and have a passion for working with children. This role is most suitable for someone who is eager to support children become the best version of themselves in the education sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide individual and group support to primary school students.
* Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and tailored learning activities.
* Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced with working with SEND pupils.
- Friendly and approachable.
- Good behaviour management skills.
- Eager to support students academically and emotionally.
- Enthusiastic with a genuine passion for working with young children.
About the Role:
Learning Support Assistants should have a positive attitude towards pupils and aid them in achieving success and excelling in the classroom. The role will require a dedicated individual who is able to demonstrate assertiveness and good behaviour management in the classroom. Candidates ideally should have some previous experience in the classroom around pupils. Candidates should also be able to provide support to pupils with diverse needs such as autism, learning delays and non-verbal communication if necessary.

Through positive relationships among teachers, support staff, leaders, parents/carers, and students, we aim for educational and personal success for all our pupils. Most of our schools are accessible via public transport and parking is not typically readily available.
