Key Responsibilities:
* Assess existing data systems, comprehend data structures, and identify potential risks or challenges. Establish and enforce data standards and best practices.
* Work closely with stakeholders to define data migration requirements and outcomes, ensuring alignment with agreed strategies.
* Map data elements between source and target systems, performing data cleansing, formatting, and transformation to ensure compatibility and accuracy in the new environment. Oversee the planning and execution of data migration processes.
* Conduct thorough testing of migrated data to verify accuracy and integrity. Address and resolve any discrepancies or errors encountered during migration.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to coordinate migration activities. Provide regular updates and reports on the progress of data migration projects. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Skills and Experience:
* At least 2 years of experience in Insurance Broking Systems data migration, preferably with Acturis.
* Strong proficiency in SQL and data manipulation languages.
* A minimum of 2 years experience with ETL tools.
