What you’ll need to succeed

Our established public sector clients are seeking an experienced all-round accountant, with good knowledge of the year-end process. Ideally, with some experience of the public sector. This role will be key to ensuring the day. To-to-day accounts are all up to date and have previously engaged with auditors previously. There will be some aspects of payroll using Sage 50. This role will report to the COO and you must be comfortable giving accurate information for them to be able to make informed decisions. This role will also manage a small finance team. This will need someone who is used to working with minimal support, using their own initiative when obtaining information and ensuring all the accounts are up-to-date.

Knowledge of the MS Office package, in particular Excel and knowledge of Sage 50 and Xero.
