Morgan McKinley, Northern Home Counties is proud to be supporting a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, with a business in Northamptonshire. They are seeking an experienced and hands on Management Accountant who can take real ownership of the workload.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Take overall ownership of producing month end management accounts & departmental P&L’s.
* Monitor KPI’s, highlighting trends and analysing causes of unexpected variances and making recommendations for improvement
* Ownership of the balance sheet reconciliation. Ensuring that all accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis
* Provide monthly reporting
* Hold Monthly Meetings to support the accounts, to discuss their performance.
* Assistant with the production of annual budgets and supporting analytical analysis
Person Specification
* Part Qualified CIMA or ACCA or AAT Qualified
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Strong excel skills
* Self-motivated, flexible can-do attitude works well under pressure, on own initiative and in a team environment
* Ability to prioritise workload and keep to strict deadline
* Excellent attention to detail
