Senior Bookkeeper

A new role has arisen within a leading real estate funding company located in North West London who are recruiting for a Senior Bookkeeper to join their team.

Candidates applying should have a minimum of 4 years experience in a bookkeeping/accounts role and be familiar with accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks.

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded
* Maintain and update financial records and ledgers
* Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
* Provide timely and accurate financial information and reports
* Process invoices, payments, and receipts
* Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely transactions
* Facilitate banking transactions and reconcile bank statements

Skills and Experience Required:
* Demonstrated experience in a bookkeeping / accounting role
* Proficient in using accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero
* Prior experience in the real estate or property finance industry is preferred but not essential
* Accounting qualifications such as the AAT is advantageous but not essential
