Job Description:
Are you ready to take on a pivotal role with a leading provider of industrial, medical, and special gases? We are recruiting a Plant Manager for our client’s Morden production site. This is an excellent opportunity to lead, inspire, and make impactful decisions.
**Location:** Morden
**What You Will Enjoy Doing:**
* Lead and make key decisions for the Morden production site, with overall accountability.
* Manage and inspire a team, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations for both internal and external customers.
* Act as the responsible site landlord, ensuring safe and efficient site management.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, acting as the primary contact for the HSE and external parties.
* Foster a safe and fulfilling work environment while empowering your team.
* Ensure adherence to current and future codes of practice and standards.
* Continuously seek improvements in safety and efficiency through best practices and team development.
* Achieve set productivity targets.
**What Makes You Great:**
* HND/Degree qualification or equivalent experience.
* Strong safety consciousness with knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and ISO9001:2008 – ISO14001 operating procedures.
* Ideally NEBOSH certified or working towards certification.
* Ability to influence and lead others through change.
* Experience in cylinder filling and handling or similar manufacturing operations.
* Proven business and financial competence with budget leadership skills.
* Excellent people management skills and a passion for developing others.
* Experience with recognized trade unions is an advantage.
