Job role / duties

•Supervise the engineering in order to oversee operations as well as maintain a hands-on approach in order to share knowledge and ensure efficiency
•Establish project goals and timelines and determine the resources needed to achieve project success.
•Assist in the design processes by working with designers SMT
•Oversee equipment maintenance to ensure machinery is kept operational, help reduce non-functional periods and maintain productivity.
•Conduct risk assessments to anticipate potential project challenges
•Coordinating & communicate with team members, SMT and clients to ensure collaboration
•Manage budgets and allocate resources efficiently
•Implement technical standards to maintain quality and consistency
•Establish safety procedures in order to reduce hazards
•Oversee quality assurance to ensure that all output meets standards.
•Participate in the recruitment process
•Conduct performance reviews in order to analyse individual contributions and achievements, discuss areas for improvement and set new goals

In order to be considered for this role you MUST:
•Already be a time served Engineering Manager
•Have a hand on attitude in the workplace
•Have a solid mechanical background
•Want to make an impact in a business
