Position: Apprentice Maintenance Engineer

The role
This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to be embedded within the maintenance and engineering team whilst completing an apprenticeship enabling them to secure valuable hands-on experience all whilst gaining a technical qualification on a day release at a local college.
Under the mentorship of seasoned professionals, you will embark on an apprenticeship journey in the Maintenance and Engineering team, immersing yourself in a comprehensive training regimen that combines academic rigor with practical experience. This is your opportunity to develop the essential skills and knowledge necessary to excel within a globally recognized company.

The person
To be considered for this opportunity you must have 5 GCSE grades at level 4 or above including English and Maths and be computer literate. You should have a keen interest in our growing industry and be motivated to achieve results to a level above and beyond what is expected.
Hours of work will be 37.5 hrs per week, Monday to Friday.
Experience & Training to aid your learning.
* CSCS/CPCS, IPAF and Scaff tag qualifications
* Forklift truck license
* MEWP License
* Legionella trained (Training will be given)
* Un-licensed Asbestos Worker
* Ability to engage and assist in the Emergency Preparedness and Response on site
* Safety regulations to operate on a Nuclear Licensed Site
