Job Description:
Finance Assistant | up to £25k plus study support | Nottinghamshire
We are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to work within a thriving well established business based in Worksop. This role would suit someone who is graduate out of university with an accounts or finance degree or maybe you have a year or two exposure in finance and want to develop your career. This is a great opportunity for someone to either kick start their career or build on their current experience and develop within the business.
Responsibilities:
Processing customer invoices and allocating payments
Looking after the purchase ledgers
Organising payments runs and money allocations
Liaising with suppliers and customers
Checking the accounts inbox, dealing with any enquiries and queries
Updating Excel and Sage with banking information
Assisting with month end
Covering for absences within the team
Ideal Candidate:
Graduate with a Finance or Accounting Degree, or someone with a minimum of a years experience
Team player
Good communication skills at all levels
IT Literate with a good working knowledge of Excel
Attention to detail
