Data Governance Lead, SVP
Location: London
Contract: 6-month initial contract
Rate: £700-780 per day via an Umbrella Company
Overview: Join a Tier-1 Investment Bank and bring your skills in analysis, problem solving, leadership, stakeholder management, and communication in their Data Risk & Controls Team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement policy adoption plans, compliance metrics, communications, and training.
* Conduct business analysis to align requirements with Data Governance and Data Risk standards.
* Support Data Transformation projects as a Subject Matter Expert.
* Ensure data roles and responsibilities are understood and implemented.
* Collaborate to ensure timely execution of milestones and risk reporting.
* Manage the lifecycle of metrics and report production.
* Assess risk and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
Requirements:
* Experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Risk, Controls, or related areas.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to balance effective processes with continuous improvement.
* Knowledge of Data Operating Model practices and Data Governance within financial services.
* Investment Banking experience is essential
