As they continue to expand, they are seeking a talented Linux System Administrator/DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team.
**The Role:**
As a Linux System Administrator/DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for managing, supporting and optimising Linux-based systems and supporting their development operations. You will work closely with the IT and development teams to ensure the systems are robust, efficient, and secure. This is a hybrid role, so you should live within commuting distance of Milton Keynes, Aylesbury, or Leighton Buzzard.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux servers and systems.
- Automate system and application deployments using scripts and configuration management tools.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of the infrastructure.
- Support database management, including MySQL (command line), MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
- Develop and maintain Python and shell scripts to automate tasks and improve system efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployment processes.
- Implement and maintain security best practices across all systems.
**What We’re Looking For:**
- **Experience:** At least 3 years of strong Linux Administration/DevOps experience.
- **Skills:** Proficient in managing Linux systems, with a good understanding of databases (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL). Strong knowledge of Python and shell scripting.
- **Location:** Must live within commuting distance of Milton Keynes, Aylesbury, or Leighton Buzzard, as this is a hybrid role requiring periodic on-site presence.
- **Team Player:** Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
