Job Description:
Our client school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 teacher to join their team on a part-time basis, working three days a week alongside another experienced teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive and dynamic school community.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons in accordance with the national curriculum
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
* Plan and prepare detailed lesson plans, materials, and resources to enhance learning
* Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, inclusive learning environment
* Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the holistic development of students
* Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events
* Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students
* Encourage and foster a love of learning and curiosity in students
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent teaching qualification
* Proven experience in teaching at the primary level, preferably Year 5
* Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
* Commitment to continuous professional development and improvement
* A passion for teaching and making a positive impact on student’s lives
