Job Description:
Our client school in Islington is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 teacher to join their team on a full-time basis starting in September. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a vibrant and supportive school community.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students in accordance with the national curriculum
* Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning
* Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to enhance student learning and well-being
* Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events
* Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs and abilities
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a safe and productive learning environment
* Encourage and support students’ social and emotional development
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
* Experience teaching at the primary level, preferably Year 3
* Strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
* Commitment to professional development and a passion for teaching
* A positive attitude and a dedication to making a difference in students’ lives
