As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing academic and behavioural support to students, working closely with teachers to ensure every child reaches their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting students in their learning activities, both in and out of the classroom
* Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
* Providing one-on-one support for students with special educational needs
* Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Supervising students during breaks and extracurricular activities
* Assisting with the assessment and recording of student progress
* Encouraging and motivating students to achieve their best
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school setting
* A strong understanding of the UK national curriculum
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team
* A patient and nurturing approach to working with young people
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask
