In this role, you will maintain and repair operational equipment, handle breakdowns, and follow a maintenance schedule. You will diagnose and fix electrical and mechanical systems like PLCs, conveyors, and weighers. You will also manage health and safety policies and assist with improvement projects.
This role suits an experienced engineer with strong electrical and mechanical skills, particularly in a food or automotive setting. You should be good at fault-finding, reading engineering drawings, and programming PLCs. Relevant engineering qualifications are essential.
The Role:
* Maintain and repair production machinery and equipment
* Perform breakdown repairs and scheduled maintenance
* Manage building services systems and ensure safety compliance
The Person:
* Experienced multi-skilled engineer with electrical and mechanical expertise
* Skilled in fault diagnosis, PLC programming, and reading engineering drawings
* Holds relevant engineering qualifications, IEE 17/18th Edition preferred
