Welding Trainer

Monday – Friday 7am – 5:15pm (1pm finish on a Friday)

We are looking for an experienced welding trainer to join a well-established team in Daventry.

You will be responsible for providing technical guidance and expertise in the field of welding and fabrication to meet the requirements of international standards and customer specifications.

Key Duties:

* Designing and writing of welding procedures and maintenance of records
* Provide technical guidance and expertise to internal departments on weld procedures
* Analyse high rate of weld repairs and give guidance for improvement to reduce wastage
* Responsible for total weld quality throughout the company for manufactured products
* Identifying process changes/improvements
* Training/coaching employees in accordance with welding procedures and assessment/appraisal of welders
* Management of audit system related to weld quality & internal auditing
* 5S Champion – Providing guidance, training, assessment to members of staff within DMP
* Support NPI welding and product manufacture procedure activity


 The Ideal Candidate:

* CSWIP Certification
* Experience within a fabrication welding business
* Working Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 15614-1 & 5817
* Working Knowledge of Microsoft word and Excel
* Methodical and precise.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, at all levels.
* Exceptional organisational skills
