Job Description:
GRAPHIC DESIGNER

A contract until the end of 2024 as a Graphic Designer for a fantastic charity working within the electrical, electronics and energy industries.
  
GRAPHIC DESIGNERROLE:
* Developing concepts and designs for print and digital media including brochures, websites, social media graphics, email campaigns and more
* Creating all event materials including table brochures, table plans and social media assets
* Illustrating concepts by designing rough layouts of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style and related aesthetic concepts
* Obtaining approval of concepts by submitting rough layouts for approval
* Preparing finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing and similar equipment, purchasing from vendors
* Preparing final layouts by marking and pasting up finished copy and art
* Managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines
* Ensuring operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories and evaluating new equipment
* Completing projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services and printers
* Researching and staying up-to-date on design trends and best practices to ensuring that designs are innovative and effective
* Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
GRAPHIC DESIGNER ESSENTIALS:
* Graphic Design Degree
* Minimum 6 months of work experience in a Graphic Design role
* Adobe Creative Suite knowledge
