Graduate Teaching Assistant - Camden, Northwest London - Immediate/September 2024 START
Are you a Graduate Teaching Assistant who would like to work with children in SEND Schools with behavioural & mental health needs? Are you seeking a full time role working with children with additional needs starting immediately and for the full academic year?

* TERM TIME ONLY
As a specialist graduate teaching assistant, you will be working with children on a 1 to 1 basis. The children that you will be working with will all have a variety of additional needs. You will be working with pupils in the classroom and in specialist 1:1 mentoring sessions. This school will offer excellent support and training to all new starters.
Job Requirements:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology or related field.
* Strong knowledge of psychological theories, research methodologies, and ethical practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
* Empathy, compassion, and a genuine interest in working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Proficiency in using relevant software or tools for data analysis or research purposes.
* Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance, or willingness to undergo the process.
