Interim Financial Controller | Renewable Energy | Hybrid/London | up to £100,000 + Bonus and Benefits
Communicate are partnering with a high growth energy client as they look to bring on an established financial controller to support the CFO; the role will be managing transactional finance teams, overseeing statutory reporting to month-end, as well as budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow analysis.
This organisation is looking for an individual who is well-versed in knowing what good looks like in financial control, accounting and reporting. This role is based within the London HQ and offered on a hybrid basis with 3 days in the office.
Job Responsibilities:
* Reporting into the CFO, you will manage the finance team and oversee financial control, statutory reporting, month-end, year-end and review monthly payment runs
* Leading local audits and supporting with the Group audit
* Ability to manage a team, responsible for development, reviewing work and coaching
* Involvement with ensuring systems and processes are efficient and providing improvements when required
* Overlook ad hoc projects for the group
What we are looking for:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with PQE across large corporations and SMEs, to know "what good looks like"
* An experienced manager, who is confident in coaching and developing teams
* Sector experience in Energy/Renewables is a must - the business is still in it’s infancy and requires leaders in finance to champion best practice and excellence in the Finance Team
