Robert Walters have partnered with a leading business based in Coventry in the search for a Payroll Clerk. They are offering a hybrid working pattern, 08:30 - 17:00 Monday - Friday. The role is paying a perm equivalent of £28k on an initial 3-6 month contract.
Robert Walters have partnered with a leading business based in Coventry in the search for a Payroll Clerk. They are offering a hybrid working pattern, 08:30 - 17:00 Monday - Friday. The role is paying a perm equivalent of £28k on an initial 3-6 month contract.
Key Responsibilities

Payroll Processing:

* Process payroll accurately and on time, including salaries, wages, bonuses, and benefits
* Verify time sheets, attendance records, and other relevant data to ensure accuracy
* Calculate deductions for taxes, National Insurance contributions, pensions, and other statutory deductions
* Process adjustments, such as overtime, bonuses, or deductions for absences
* Handle complex payroll situations, including variable pay and deductions

Requirements:

* Ensure compliance with GDPR and other data protection regulations when handling sensitive payroll information
* Prepare and submit statutory reports, such as PAYE, P60s, P11Ds, and Real Time Information (RTI) submissions
* Liaise with HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) and other relevant authorities as necessary
