Hays are delighted to be working with an established private sector, professional service provider within the Birmingham City Centre. The company has experienced significant growth over the last few years and as such have a requirement for a Management Accountant on a fixed-term basis.

Your new role
This is a hands-on A-Z accountancy role. Anything from VAT returns to bookkeeping, this will involve overseeing everything to ensure the company’s success. Under the Finance Manager, you will be providing assistance to make sure everything within the Finance Department progresses smoothly.

What you’ll need to succeed
This is a fast-paced and intense role, and successful applications will therefore require:
- Qualified within accountancy (either by experience, part-qualified in certifications such as CIMA or ACCA, or fully qualified)
- Experience within an intense financial environment, such as a smaller business where more responsibility was given
- Experience with systems such as Sage and Excel
- Ability to work both individually and as a team
-Comfortability in working under pressure and meeting deadlines
The ideal candidate will be available on a short notice or able to start immediately.

What you’ll get in return
Salary upto £50000 plus the possibility of permanent after 6 months, free parking and excellent hybrid working.
