£60,000-£65,000

Our client is a leading property management company located in North London who manage and own serviced office space across London. We are recruiting for an experienced Head of Accounts with a strong working knowledge of Qube to join their team in a stand alone role.

Key Responsibilities:
-Oversee and manage the entire accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and financial reporting
-Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
-Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing regular reports and analysis to senior management
-Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies
-Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including tax filing.
-Evaluate and implement accounting systems and software to improve efficiency and accuracy
-Monitor and manage financial risks, ensuring appropriate risk mitigation strategies are in place
-Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate governance standards

Qualifications and Experience
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
-Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a property management role
-Extensive experience in property management and/or serviced office industry is highly desirable
-Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws
-Proficiency in Qube software and Microsoft Office Suite
