CNC Turners - setter/operator’s opportunities at this established sub-contract aerospace precision engineering company. This is a stable, interesting, and varied job opportunity in a smaller friendly company.
The role involves setting and operating a range of fanuc controlled CNC lathes to produce varying batch size work to close tolerances. You will work with a wide range of materials (Metals), including some exotics and harder to machine materials. Experience with live tooling would be an advantage although training can be given.
You should be a confident setter / operator with the ability to understand engineering drawings, program offsets, conduct basic first off and in process inspection and perform basic machine care.
It would also be an advantage if you were apprentice trained.
